Brimstone is located on the beautiful 35-acre Langdale Estate, set in the heart of the English Lake District surrounded by breathtaking scenery and some of the finest walking, biking and climbing locations in the country.

The site was once a mill, then a gunpowder factory established to service the local slate quarrying industry, and then became a low key holiday destination following the closure of the gunpowder works in the 1920s. The 1980s saw the development of the site as a timeshare resort with hotel accommodation.
